The Challenge:
New employees arrive at work on their first day and the company is totally unprepared for them. Existing staff may not even know that the new person is starting on that day. Management may assume that staff can drop everything they are doing to assist the new appointee. Computer resources need to be ordered and configured. The new staff member can feel very uncomfortable and, sometimes, unwanted. This is certainly not the way to treat a potential valuable team member!
How ABC Suites uses epic:
Molly Coddle (HR) uses the onboarding process in epic to ensure that new employees, at whatever level, have a brilliant experience as they are introduced to ABC Suites.

Candy Wrapper (CEO) insists on a world-class induction process that includes communicating and understanding the importance of the Values and Core Purpose of the company.

It is important for new employees to feel part of the Company before they even arrive on their first day. The entire experience of onboarding is designed to demonstrate to new staff that they have joined something special and while performance expectations are high, everyone is obsessed about helping them succeed from day one.

A consistent and well-oiled onboarding experience goes a long way to ensure that this happens.
