The Challenge:

In her quest for ABC Suites to become the ‘Employer of Choice’, Molly Coddle (HR Director) needed to address employee engagement issues. The recent epic Climate Survey had highlighted a lack of recognition and appreciation at the company and this impacted employee retention, absenteeism as well as employee attraction.

How ABC Suites uses epic:

Molly turned to the Kudos recognition feature in epic to address these challenges and noticed the impact immediately in terms of staff morale and motivation.

The feature provided a simple, fun, engaging, and transparent way of acknowledging a colleague or staff member who has done something exceptional. A culture of recognising & celebrating success, of catching people doing things right, of living the values – and ultimately a happy, connected and productive workforce who believe deeply in the vision, values and core purpose of the company.
