Celia immediately started using the Risk Register available in epic for the company at a Strategic Level. She also asked the various project managers to develop a risk register per project and ensure that all identified risks were assigned to an owner who would be responsible to implement any control measures identified.
This produced a Dashboard of identified Risks (Strategic and Project based) with colour coded scores for ease of reference. Raw Risk and Net Risk was automatically calculated based on two important parameters: Impact vs Likelihood.
Control Measures were then agreed per Risk Item and these also reflected on the report with target dates.
The net result was a deeper understanding of the various risks and importantly, a significant reduction of Red Zone (High Impact and High Likelihood) Risk factors.
