Candy started using epic to assign deadline driven items. Not only does she now have line of sight as to what has been assigned to who, but because the rest of her team have a view of the various assignments a culture of supporting one another as well as holding each other accountable has developed which helps ensure that things get done in time.
She also likes the fact that assignees can comment on progress all the way to completion.
Auto alerts are sent to assignees when an assignment is allocated and when deadlines are looming – this all helps to keep everyone focused.
Finally, there is an option to self-assign items which everyone on the team can do.
