An important outcome of the epic strategic planning process is the allocation of ‘Champions’ for each Strategic Objective.
Strategic Objectives are Assigned and owners of these are required to update progress in Epic (Percentage; RAG Status & Progress Statement). This all reflects on a high level Strategy Dashboard.
Candy (CEO) has a monthly executive session where the live report is displayed and is used as the agenda. Progress on each Objective is presented and discussed.
- Comments can be captured and sent to the respective Owners
- Changes can be made to the Objectives from this report and these reflect on the updated One-Pager immediately.
Candy has found, through this process of monthly strategy check-ins, everyone is held accountable and the discipline of excecution is firmly entrenched across the team who now hold each other accountable and ensure that progress is captured on a regular basis to ensure that the strategy dashboard reflects the latest status.
