The workshop unfolded at Gateside Guesthouse Conference Centre in Hilton, KZN - a character-filled venue nestled in a peaceful Hilton cul-de-sac. With its Victorian charm and sweeping views of pastures and dam, it set the perfect tone for a day of strategic clarity and team connection.
Initiated by MD, Dr Shaun Groenink and facilitated by EpicIT, in partnership with William Gearing (local Business Management Consultant & Sales/Marketing specialist), the day began with a shared commitment: to align leadership, sharpen priorities, and activate a strategy that lives beyond the page. Through collaborative exercises, the team co-created their “True North” compass—defining vision, values, and purpose with precision and passion.

Using the Epic System platform, strategic pillars, objectives, and KPIs were captured live. These insights were distilled into a powerful One-Pager—the Epic Model—ready to evolve with the business.

The afternoon introduced EpicIT’s performance tools—task assignment, CRM, and Flex Surveys—giving the team the digital backbone to track progress and foster agility.

By day’s end, the proposal had transformed into a shared commitment. The workshop delivered clarity, cohesion, and a renewed sense of purpose. Feedback was unanimous: this wasn’t just planning—it was activation.
